The latest tweets from @varundvn. Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan turned 34 on Saturday. Known for his energetic aura and impressive dance moves, Varun made his debut in acting in 2012 with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year. Since then, the actor has starred in several movies showcasing his versatility. Some of these are Badlapur, October, Sui Dhaga, Badri ki Dulhania, among others. Mumbai: Actor Varun Dhawan is celebrating his 34th birthday today. Born 24 April 1987, Varun has become one of the stars of the Hindi film industry, who has given several successive hits. But do you know that Varun loved wrestling during his childhood and wanted to become a wrestler? Later, he tried his luck in.

April 21 : Varun Dhawan has been trolled for sharing a post on his Twitter handle. The actor not only deleted the tweet but also politely explained his action. While it seems that the actor had his heart at the right place, his post came at the wrong time.

The Coolie No. 1 actor tweeted a larger common DP made by one of his fans. The common DP, made by a fan for his birthday, featured all the characters of the actor in his films. In the graphic, the actor was seen in the iconic pose of the late English singer George Michael with his guiter. The common DP bore a message that read, “Donate plasma, save lives.”

Its an absolute pleasure to launch the birthday common DP for one of the most humble actors I have interacted with, through my career in journalism, @Varun_dvn. Stay Home, Stay Safe!

While the actor shared the fan’s creation on Twitter with the caption, “Stay safe”, it was not received well by the netizens. Several Twitter users pointed out that the timing of the post was inappropriate when social media is getting flooded with pleas for help during the grave coronavirus situation. While netizens ask for help to get oxygen, medicines, hospital beds, etc, Varun’s fans found the actor’s post to be insensible. Varun explained, “Well it was to make someone happy who made the graphic and requested it but I guess this medium shouldn’t be used for that right now.” But one of his fans wrote, “Oh Varun. I thought you're one of the sensible ones.”

About Sanki, a source told pinkvilla, 'Sajid and Varun had teamed up for Judwaa 2 which also turned out to be Varun's highest grossing solo film ever. Now, after three years, they have decided to reunite one more time. It's a masala action film in the space that Varun already specialises in. It's titled Sanki and Rajat Arora is scripting the film right now. When the film was being locked, Sajid offered it to Varun who loved it and gave it a go ahead. The deal is signed and Varun will also undergo a two month prep for the film before it begins.' Varun's Coolie No 1. was scheduled to release on May 1 but got delayed due to COVID-19 crisis. The film also features Sara Ali Khan and Paresh Rawal in key roles. The makers have recreated one of the iconic tracks from Coolie No 1 for the remake, which is Mein Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha. It is composed by Tanishk Bagchi. Talking about the track, director David Dhawan said, “It is an important song for our film, and it has heart. But times have changed so I am going to picturise it very differently with Varun and Sara.' Recalling about the original track, David said. “We found a place in Bangalore with lot of Bhel Puri stalls and had the lead pair (Govinda and Karisma) strolling through it, exploring ‘Mumbai’. I thought it was the best way to capture the essence of the Maximum City back then.' Also Read - Happy Birthday, Varun Dhawan: 6 throwback pictures that will make you fall in love with his cuteness
